Hello fact fans, want a fact?
Valencia are fucking awesradical. Fact.
There you go.
Like, there's a bit on track three (called, awesomely enough 'What Are You Doing Man? That's Weird') where it does a chugga-chugga bit near the end and they do some keyboards that remind me of HORSE The Band. But, by being a pop punk band, they do it better.
Valencia are supra-good, for they have cool guitarifying and handclaps and solos and gang vocals and all the typical cliche stuff that makes bands ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. They also have proper good pop punk lyrics that talk about girls and mates an' shit like that. Politics is pretty much for losebags, dorks and geeks.
Cartel also do the pop punk thing like, well good. The last few tracks on their album are refreshingly awesmazing and keyboardy. Plus 'Luckie St.' makes me want to dance.
And yet, they'll probably never get over here because the general public, for some bizarre reason, think that Mest are a good band and all american bands that I like don't seem to have the same international touring ethic as all the wack american bands. If shitty folk punk bands can tour successfully, why the balls can't A Wilhelm Scream (who've got way better), Cartel and now Valencia manage it. I get angry like a madman.
But anyways, bitching aside, these albums are totally tits and everyone should check this shit out.
Cartel - Chroma
Valencia - This Could Be a Possibility
A Wilhelm Scream - Ruiner
Love it.
